Requirements
- Computer: macOS 11 or later (Intel or Apple Silicon), or Windows 10 or later.
- Shop: PrestaShop 1.6, 1.7, 8 or 9, with administrator access to the back office.
- HTTPS recommended on the shop; mandatory for the PrestaShop 9 Admin API.
1. Install the app
Download the installer from oneshopmanager.com (macOS or Windows) and run it. App updates are then signed and offered automatically.
2. Install the psmanager module on the shop
- In the app, "+ Add a shop", then "Download the module (.zip)".
- In the PrestaShop back office: Modules › Module Manager › Upload a module (PrestaShop 1.7 to 9) or Modules › Add a new module (PrestaShop 1.6).
- Drop the .zip file and install the module.
The module is free and supplied with the app. It adds the resources the app needs (synchronization, bulk operations) without changing how the shop works.
3. Connect the shop
- On the module page, click "Connecter One Shop Manager": the button opens the app.
- The app shows the shop requesting the connection: check that it really is yours and accept.
- The first sync copies the catalog, orders and customers to the computer.
If the button does not open the app, use "Copier le lien" (Copy link) under the code shown in the module, then paste the link into the app.
Manual connection (advanced)
You can still create the key yourself:
- Webservice (PrestaShop 1.6 to 9): Advanced Parameters › Webservice, enable the Webservice, create a key with the permissions indicated by the app (GET to read, PUT to write), then paste it into the app.
- Admin API (PrestaShop 9): Advanced Parameters › Admin API, create a client with the indicated scopes, then paste its Client ID and Client secret.
Secrets are stored in the macOS Keychain or the Windows Credential Manager.
Transfer a shop to another computer
On the first computer: "Edit" next to the shop, then export the profile (.oneshop file encrypted with a password of at least 8 characters). On the other computer: "Import a profile", then that password. Send the password through a different channel than the file.
Frequently asked questions
Does the psmanager module slow down the shop?
No. When a product, an order or a customer changes, it adds a line to a change log; the sync therefore only rereads what has changed. The rest of the time, it only acts when the app queries it.
Do I need to update the module when the app evolves?
Some features require a recent version of the module; the app tells you and provides the up-to-date .zip. Features already present keep working with the old module.
